Happy Birthday Dad!

The world has now officially been a better place for 50 years, since my Dad was born on September 12, 1958.

There are lots of things I wish I could do to honor the occasion.

For one thing,
I would give him this: Which of course would be in the middle of: Where we could go for a walk in: After which we'd race our:
But I guess all of those things would be rather heavy to ship overseas.

So instead on your birthday, I wish you:

And

And

Wish I could be there to celebrate with you! Have fun until I can get there in a couple months!

Love you, Dad.

Oh Nik, that's beautiful!
You, Shauna, Michael, Chloe and Katie are very lucky people. You simply have the best father anyone could ask for.
Happy birthday, Wade! I wish you joy!

Nikki, You truly know my soul...

Thank you so much for being such a wonderful part of my "oh so many years."

Like I just said on the phone, "we're going to live in the same town someday, and then we can celebrate every occasion together, such as "Yay! We bought some tomato plants!" or "Oh, boy! A fresh tank of propane, and 3 pounds of steak!" or the always popular, "Look! A new wine we've discovered!" These are the holidays I look forward to spending with you and everyone in the family.

Sarah got me a "Life is Good" shirt........ Boy,,, She sure got that right. =o) And she put a sweet Dove-chocolate candy wrapper in my book that said, "Age is just a number... But in your case... A very LARGE number!" (Just kidding.)

Thanks for the warm wishes, Connie!

And, Nik, Thanks again for the beautiful words and pictures... It made me joyful and teary again, (of course.)

Sure do love and miss you,

=o)
