You know, when you, Shauna and Michael started sending us Onion snippets several years ago, I thought, "aw -- I thought that was a local UW-Madison student paper! They sure disguised it well if it was actually a national thing...." I loved it! and read it more faithfully than the real paper, much as I'm more likely to watch The Daily Show now, after I've skimmed cnn.com for news. Well, it WAS a local student paper at the time....waayy back when..... started as a student publication in Madison in 1988. I knew that darn world-reknowned university was worth something!
