Thirteen years ago today...
...after overcoming many an outside obstacle, including distances over oceans, a disapproving military, and countless individual difficult circumstances, my Dad and Sarah were finally married. Auf euren damaligen sowie weiteren Erfolg -- und auf den Triumph der Liebe! :)

Not a lot of gifts and fan-fare, not a big trip or celebration... Just a sweet walk through the woods... arm in arm... grinning like a couple of kids... Deeply in love (with two bouncy little girls in tow.) Sometimes true love's magic is in the simple things like the smell of leaves, and the look in her eyes just before we kiss. ....
