My friend Conny in Berlin celebrates her birthday for the first time with her brand-new daughter today. Here are some old-fashioned American chocolate chip cookies in honor of the occasion:
Hey Nik, I didn't see this until just now!! :) Thank you!! You broke the record this year with three ways of congratulating me. You must really like me *blush* :)
I wish I could have one of these cookies now! - Which reminds me, here is another good reason to have a baby... (other than the obvious ones like cuteness and decorative milk-spit on your shirt): you can eat 600 cal more per day (if you are breastfeeding). How about that? :)
Haha, it occurred to me afterward that it must have looked like I was birthday-stalking you! I was just gonna write an email, but then decided cookies were in order, too. It was Bert who reminded me of this device, what do you call it, a "tele-phone", which you can use to talk to people who are not nearby. A splendid little tool!
We'll have to make some real cook-eis when we come visit... ;)
